Adams-Friendship Area School District (www.afasd.net)

We are looking for a student-centered, enthusiastic individual, who is willing to join our team to support the unique needs of our students. Adams Friendship is invested in our student’s future success and overall well-being. Our mental health initiatives and relationships with our community and outside agencies provide our students with opportunities to receive counseling while at school, adult mentorship, and the chance to learn social and emotional skills. RtI, PBIS and problem solving teams are used within our schools to promote a positive and supportive problem-solving approach to learning, behavioral and mental health needs. Our school psychologists have NASP approved ratios (i.e., 1:650) because we value their ability to perform comprehensive roles. This comprehensive role includes special education evaluations, running groups, providing individual counseling, consulting with staff and outside agencies, and partnering on building and administrative level teams. Paid professional development opportunities are also available, as we value lifelong learners.

The Clinton Community School District has an opening for a full-time (1.0 FTE) school psychologist for the remainder of the 2018-19 school year.  This district-wide position is eligible for up to a 2-year contract.  Candidates must hold a Wisconsin license for School Psychologist (#7062).  The district will consider applicants for the 2018-2019 school year. The preferred candidate will have: Experience with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), The ability to interpret multiple forms of data including utilizing Aimsweb and Educlimber to drive and inform decision making, A clear understanding of the special education process, including initial evaluations using the current SLD rule, Experience case managing initial referrals, Experience with section 504 plans, Excellent written and oral communication skills, Knowledge of the School Mental Health Framework, Experience with positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS), and The ideal candidate would have the ability to communicate in Spanish in both written and verbal or at the very least have the ability to communicate through an interpreter. The Hamilton School District, located in Sussex (a northwest suburb of Milwaukee), is a high achieving school district committed to the social emotional and academic success of all of our learners. We are seeking a School Psychologist to serve in our brand new Intermediate School (serving grades 5 and 6), opening in August of 2019. The selected candidate will assist the learning community in implementing the district's response to intervention model for both academics and behavior & social emotional learning. The School Psychologist will provide consultation to our teaching and administrative staff to make data driven decisions about student specific and systems-related issues. The School Psychologist will work closely with five other effective School Psychologists and the rest of our special services team made up of School Social Workers, School Counselors, and Program Support Teachers.

Milwaukee Public Schools is a large urban district serving over 76,000 students.  Our student population is comprised of 88% students of color, 80% economically disadvantaged and 20% students with special needs.  Our school psychologists are supervised by two licensed school psychologists and mentoring for interns is provided by a full time school psychologist mentor. School psychologists in MPS engage in a wide variety of activities including direct services to students, RtI, PBIS, regular and special education evaluations, systems level work and consultation with parents, teachers and administrators.  We are looking for qualified individuals who are dedicated to helping our students succeed.
