WSPA Job Posting Policy

As of April 1, 2016
1. WSPA will post any positions for which a school psychology license is applicable, including school psychologist, RtI coordinator, Data Analyst, Director of Accountability and Outcomes, etc. until the position is filled or for 6 months, whichever is sooner.

2. Postings can be up to 200 words and may include a hotlink for further information.  Please use a word document for your posting.

4. The fee is $75 for a Wisconsin school psychology position or $150 for an RTI coordinator, Data Analyst, Director of Accountability and Outcomes, etc. posting.  (This is an allowable IDEA expense). The fee is also$150 for any position outside of Wisconsin.

5. We reserve the right to post positions at our discretion, and will not accept any postings that we deem inappropriate or unacceptable for any reason.

Description:
Due to retirement, the Erin School District is seeking a full-time (100%) candidate who holds a School Psychologist License starting the 2017-2018 school year. We will consider applicants looking for part time. The district is willing to work with neighboring school districts to make the position full time if possible.

The district staff work in a collaborative environment using the PLC model. The successful candidate will be an individual that enjoys working as part of a team and is a good communicator. Candidates should hold a Wisconsin School Psychologist and Special Education Director License or proof of eligibility for them.

The Erin School District is a small, high scoring academic rural K-8 school district with 380 students, which has a collaborative team atmosphere with a supportive administrative team and school board. We are located just south of Hartford on Hwy 83 adjacent to Erin Hills that is the site of the 2017 US Open.

The district will post positions separately (i.e. Director 20%-50%, School Psychologist 50%, and Director 20-30% & School Psychologist 50%). Please apply for all positions you are interested in.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: School Psychologist at a K-8 charter school.

Responsibilities:
•Administer, score and interpret results of standardized assessments
•Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
•Interpret psychological diagnostic data to professionals and parents
•Refer potential special education students to other appropriate special education diagnostic personnel as appropriate
•Participate in eligibility meetings and IEP meetings for initial placement of students in special education, as well as exit from special education
•Plan educational intervention, curriculum, management and teaching strategies for pupils as time and caseload permits
•Serve as a resource person concerning learning differences for school staff and parents

•Contribute to the RtI planning and implementation as needed
•Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments as needed
•Write behavior plans as needed

Required Education and Licensure: Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology and licensure by the Wisconsin Psychology Examining Board and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
